I'm Martina Baccelliere, a director and creative director. I graduated from IED Milan with a degree in Video Design and Directing, and my path is deeply rooted in a passion for theatre, visual arts, and video art.
I'm a painter, an aspiring photographer, and a writer with a love for all forms of artistic expression. To me, video has always been the most complete art form—a space where image, sound, movement, and language come together into one unified visual expression.
In my work, I strive to build worlds that offer the audience a new way of seeing reality. An emotion, a concept, a fracture—any of these can become the seed of a story that transcends genre and speaks to both the heart and the intellect. Each piece I create seeks to merge aesthetic vision and meaning into a single poetic gesture.
I have explored various forms of video art from documentary and theatre-based video performance to backstage footage and more experimental projects. Alongside my academic studies, I've always sought to learn as much as possible, delving into every aspect of audiovisual production.
I believe directing is a profoundly holistic practice: to truly shape a vision, a director must understand every element that contributes to it—from technical execution to narrative construction, from lighting and sound to the relationship with everyone in front of and behind the camera.
